July 25, 2011: Gale Force Petroleum has now re-established production at Wells Ranch, which is on production for the first time since 2008.
In 2008, the Wells Ranch property produced approximately 65 bbls per day, until the owner, Sonoran Energy, became insolvent. This production ceased and the surface facilities were stripped from the leases, as the Company could no longer sustain its operations.
Gale Force Petroleum is attempting to not only re-establish production, but to improve the economics and sustainability of the operations from the original configuration. The prior operations and facilities were not properly engineered, which severely hindered production and caused abnormally high operating costs.
Gale Force has constructed adequate processing facilities to handle fluid volumes that should maximize the economics of long-term oil production.
